AS KC Kinnisvara as a subsidiary of AS KC Grupp is in charge of developing and managing the office buildings in Katusepapi Street near the Sikupilli Shopping Centre. The buildings are within less than 5-minutes drive from the city centre and airport.
In 2006, construction of a new office building and parking house was started. Old production plants and warehouses were demolished and replaced with a new 5-storey office building and 2-level parking house. The office building and parking house were designed by Velle Kadalipp (OÜ JVR Architect’s Office). The offices and parking lots in the 6 Katusepapi Str building were sold. Maardu Katlamaja
The main field of activities of AS Maardu Katlamaja (the subsidiary of KC Kinnisvara) is the sales of water from the borehole and the biological cleansing of the wastewater of the town of Maardu and the enterprises located on the territory of the former Maardu Chemical Plant (Eesti Fosforiit). Until 1995 the enterprise in addition to the current main activities also operated in the production of heat and its sales to the town of Maardu.
In addition to the cleansing of wastewater the enterprise owns several real estates in the town of Maardu located in the area between Põhjaranna Street and the territory of the former Chemical Plant. The land lots in Lao St. 17 are located in the area between the production territory of the former Chemical Plant and Põhjaranna Street leading to the Port of Muuga (cf. the bounded area on the aerial photographs). The distance from the Port of Muuga appr. 1.5 km.
The plots are suitable for the development of an industrial and logistics park. Pursuant to the general plan of Maardu the plots in Lao St. 17 are part of the so-called logistics corridor zone and the region of the most intensive development in Maardu. Pursuant to the general plan it is possible to deal in the logistics corridor zone with industrial, commercial and service entrepreneurship.
